I am once again joining Bishop Spalding for our celebration of Sunday Mass, and I invite you to tune in at watchmass.com on Sunday morning.
As usual, I have also posted a video message for this Sunday: please watch at https://youtu.be/Je8kCS65RLY or on the parish website.
Remember that the church continues to be open two hours per day, 5:00 pm-7:00 pm on weekdays, and 11:00 am-1:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and confessions continue to be available during these windows of time. And please remember to take full advantage of our parish subscription to formed.organd all the resources available at watchmass.com.
As I mentioned last week, Bishop Spalding has extended the dispensation from the Sunday obligation for a further several weeks. He also announced that while we will not be resuming Mass immediately, he has begun to have consultations with church and civic leaders about the possibility of resuming our public liturgical life within the next several weeks. Let us pray that this will be possible! Even when we can return, please remember that those who are sick, vulnerable, uncertain or uncomfortable about their health or the health of their fellow parishioners should remain at home. We will continue to observe good prudence and respect the directives of our health experts and civil leaders.
