From the earliest days of Christianity adults converts prepared for sacramental initiation
through a rich experience involving both information and formation through direct contact
with a particular faith community, its prayer life, organized acts of charity and justice, and
personnel. Participation is tailored to the particular needs of each participant providing time
to discern one’s motives, dispositions, and to experience spiritual growth. St. Patrick parish
